Photography has been a serious part of my life, in one form or another, since I was in my early teens. I’ve been working commercially, since finishing graduate school in 1980, and I’ve been working digitally since the last century.

I have worked in traditional forms of both black and white and color photography with an emphasis on museum printing and archival darkroom. Currently I am using Phase One and Hasselblad/Imacon equipment for digital capture.

I believe that what brought me to photography in the first place, is the same thing that keeps me there today;
that, simply, is light and how it defines and interprets the common everyday places and things we see around us.

Process, technique, style and the materials that we use in photography will continue to evolve. Light will just keep doing what it always does, in the same way it always has.
